I came to see Doctor Stephen Ferguson at the Natural Health Clinic after suffering from painful arthritis in my knees.  I was put on painkillers to help control the pain when walking.  I generally felt weak and stiff in the body and wanted some help to get rid of my painful arthritis.  The medication given to me helped control the pain but it was not helping to get rid of it.  I sometimes suffered from side-effects such as a burning feeling in my chest and at times constipation.  I was concerned.  I did not suffer from constipation and heartburn pains in the past.  I also did not want to start using a stick to get me around.  I am an independent senior citizen and I was not willing to start depending on others to get by.  I enjoy the occasional travel abroad every year and did not wish to stop my eventful trips to the Caribbean.

I suffered with rheumatoid arthritis in the past.  In the year 2009, I was diagnosed with discoid lupus. I was put on anti-inflammatory and steroids which left me with horrible side-effects.  My condition is a type of lupus disease that affects and inflames my skin.  I was told by the doctors that women between the ages of 20 to 45 are more likely to catch this illness and also from different ethnic minorities.  I fall in that category.

I recall in April 2012, I was hospitalised with a terrible pain in my ankle.  Unfortunately, while I was in hospital I ended up with meningitis, pneumonia and septicaemia!  I was in a coma!  While I was lying unresponsive on my hospital bed, I could still hear the medical staff and family talking about me.  It was horrifying to hear the negative things they were talking by my bedside!  I could hear them saying that I was not going to come out leading a normal life.  I was going to be a cabbage!  My family was told to be prepared for the worse.  I was so angry with the care I received and what they did to me.  I came in with acute pain in my ankle but ended up with other life threatening conditions!

I am so grateful to God that I did get out of my frightful coma.  When I woke up, it was also a frightening experience for me.  I could not walk, talk, use my hands and walk.  I could not recognise my lower leg, it was unbelievably swollen.  I was in tears and panicked.  I spent another two and a half months in hospital.  I was eventually discharged home in a wheelchair, Zimmer frame and crutches.  They gave all the things to keep me down rather than the support I needed to get back on my feet and at least try to resume a normal life.  I felt as though I was written off from life by the hospital!  For a little while, I could not do anything much for myself.  I could not brush my teeth, dress myself, eat, use my hands and walk on my own.

I was determined to get better.  I heard about Doctor Stephen Ferguson and the Natural Health Clinic from a friend.  I immediately booked and appointment with him and was taken by my daughter to see him.  He did a live blood test and other health checks.  I pleaded with him to help me to get better. Doctor Stephen Ferguson was very encouraging and a kind man.   He totally transformed my life in a matter of weeks.  I took natural vitamins, a blood cleanser, some energy drinks.  I was prescribed a diet and exercises to do at home. I went back for my health checks and was improving in leaps and bounds.  Compared to who and where I was, I can totally say I am 100% better.

In a matter of weeks, I can only describe myself a walking miracle!  I can brush my own teeth, feed myself, cook, go up and down the stairs in my home, and use my hands to dress myself.  I do not require my wheelchair or zimmer frame any more.  It is a miracle that I can walk on my own and not depend on family and friends.

I came to see Doctor Stephen Ferguson after suffering from different ailments for a long time.  I had diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, shingles, and lethargy and to add to it, I was also overweight!  I have much more to live for, but my body felt otherwise!

A friend recommended me to see him.  She said that he is a natural health practitioner that treats a whole range of ailments with natural products, foods and treats the whole person.  I felt that was what I needed and booked an appointment to see Doctor Stephen Ferguson at the Natural Health Clinic.

He did a live blood test on me which I found interesting.  I was used to doing a pin prick test to check my blood sugar level but have never seen my live blood cells in front of me and explained.  I felt like I was closer in understanding what my body was telling me which was not good on my first visit.  We discussed each of the health problems I had.  My blood pressure was usually high and my sugar level was usually all over the place when I am ill and in pain.  My arthritis flared up constantly, especially in my shoulders and knees.  Every year I constantly get an attack of shingles on my upper back on the left side.  It was painful and uncomfortable.

I suffered with painful arthritis in the knees for thirty years.  I went to see my GP and then referred to the hospital.  I was going to and fro over the years.  All they did was to re-confirm to me that I have arthritis in the knees and gave me painkillers and medication.  I did not feel it was getting any better because nothing was happening to heal it.

I also have high blood pressure and high cholesterol.  Again, I was given tablets to take to control it but I did not feel I was getting better.

I came to see Doctor Stephen Ferguson at the Natural Health Clinic.  He did a full body MOT and a live blood test.  He explained to me that I needed to change my diet and my lifestyle because I could see for myself my blood results were not that good.  Doctor Stephen Ferguson put me on an eight week health programme.  It included natural vitamin food supplements, a blood cleanser to clean my blood, a natural protein health drink and a body cream.  I was given an exercise plan and a diet plan to follow as part of the programme.

My daughter brought me to see Doctor Stephen Ferguson at the natural clinic.  I suffer from very bad arthritis.  I can hardly walk because my feet and behind my knees feel so painful.  Sometimes I feel like giving up walking!  When I am in pain, my heart starts to beat so fast and I get dizzy.

I really feel so weak in health.  Sometimes, my whole body ache, at times it is more painful in the shoulders, at times my head, my knees and feet.  It does not stop.

I visited Doctor Stephen Ferguson two months after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis by the hospital consultant.  I also suffered from mild asthma since childhood.

I have been suffering from hypertension, arthritis and diabetes for as long as I can remember! My arthritis was bad, painful to walk which limited what I can do in a day. I like walking. I meet my neighbours and have a little chat on the street or in the park, sometimes do a little shopping and come back and have a little cup of tea. Now, I have to be careful and not to overdo with the walking. I can take short walks but return home with aches and pain. I have to take my pain tablets, rest and wait for the pain to subside to a dull ache. I don’t enjoy walking the way I used to because now it is an effort. I stay home to rest and not overdo it. I also notice I get tired more easily even while resting in front of the television! Even going upstairs to my room became an effort! My son and daughter’s family are good to me. They now help me to do my food shopping when I am unable to go out and do it myself. When I take a rest, my joints especially my lower back and knees become painful and stiff. I have been going for physiotherapy for a long while but my pain was still the same or sometimes worse. I was disappointed and went back to consult my doctor. My next step recommended to me was to go for hip replacement surgery. I worried and feared that I may take a longer time to recover because of my other health problems, diabetes and hypertension.
